Since 2024, Anja Nürnberg has been painting market moments, nets and fruit… images of an everyday life in which walking, carrying and touching were taken for granted, before shopping moved from the body to the click. The project includes prints and glass medals in which the shopping net lies encased like a fossil of the present. Shown as a One Artist Show at Art Karlsruhe 2026… and ongoing.

the forest - my sitting room(2020–2023)
Between 2020 and 2023, the forest became an interior… paintings and ceramic tree figures on wooden pedestals. Shown at Stadtmuseum Naumburg (2023) and Kunsthalle Lausitz, Cottbus (2024).
everlasting stories(2015–2022)
Between 2015 and 2022, large-scale paintings about memory and everyday life emerged. In 2022 they were shown in Anja Nürnberg’s first major solo exhibition… presented by the Anhaltischer Kunstverein at the Orangery of the Anhaltische Gemäldegalerie, Dessau.
